give me an idea about all imformation of material required to study about MBA?

First, get a study guide for the GRE at any book store. You will need to take the GRE before being accepted. Second, have a high gpa (3.0 or better) during your under grad studies. All of the above will be looked at and hopefully you will get in!!!

Im having dead problem with this……is it better to give entrance exams for mba alongwith 5th semester of bms….orelse its wise to wait for next year..wats more convinient and beneficiary…..many of my classmates are doing both combined…..but im gettin lacked behind and need to take decesion soon.plz do help me.thank u.

Most US schools don’t accept those tests, and you are asking the question in the US version of Yahoo Answers. For US schools you need the GMAT. Before you decide on an MBA program explore the Internet for information on available programs. There is a lot of information available. Some sites are limited to specific countries, such as Germany, UK, or Australia. There is a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. The nice thing is that it allows you to find the program that best fits you. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, executive, and accelerated), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, joint degrees, and much more. You can use it to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. some of the other sites are less comprehensive, but all are useful.

i want to write the exam in private.

What is your objection to the seat you have been allocated?

You could ask the organisers to arrange for you to sit the examination in a separate room. You will need a very good reason – typically for the examinations at my university, this would be something like you have been awarded extra time by the university medical staff on the basis of a disability such as a broken arm or dyslexia, or you have a doctors note for a crowd-based anxiety disorder, or you are moderately ill and might need to leave suddenly, or you need some other form of special assistance such as a audio recording version of the paper. These would have to be backed up by official documentation and approved well in advance of the examination.

A simple preference for a separate room, however strongly expressed, would not be a good enough reason. However, there is no harm in asking.

The college’s over-riding consideration will be that they will want the examination to be fair, in the sense that all students are examined under the same conditions as far as is practical. That is not the same as wanting the examination conditions to tailored to individual preferences so that each student performs at his or her best.
